Terms of Service

  1. Remittance fees are subject to change without prior notice.

  2. RAPID REMIT applies only to accounts maintained at PNB domestic branches and is subject to disruptions or delays in delivery channels caused by the following:

    1. unforeseen power failures;
    2. natural calamities (fortuitous events) in the Philippines;
    3. emergency computer maintenance; and
    4. breakdown of communication system.

  3. Check Payment is subject to clearing. Exchange rate applicable shall be the rate on the date of actual receipt of check.

  4. Remittance to accounts with other banks may incur additional charges, in which the receiving bank may deduct from the original amount remitted.

  5. In the event that there is a reported erroneous credit of any amount to a destination account using the InstaPay service, and such erroneous credit arose from inaccurate information of the Beneficiary provided by the Remitter, the PNB RCC will, upon request of Remitter, endeavor to recover and return the funds so credited but on a BEST EFFORT basis only. Nothing herein shall be construed as a guarantee by PNB RCC that such funds may still be retrieved and returned to the Remitter.

  6. In case the Remitter opted to remit funds using the InstaPay service, and the system experiences a system time out during the processing of such remittance, the PNB RCC shall, within two (2) Philippine banking days from system time out, determine whether the said remittance transaction was successful or not. After the said two (2) day period, should PNB RCC determine the remittance transaction was unsuccessful, the PNB RCC shall reprocess the remittance as a new transaction.

  7. To initiate a refund, the Remitter must submit a cancellation request letter to PNB RCC with the corresponding transaction receipt and a valid government issued ID within 30 days from the initial transaction. Refunds will be processed once PNB RCC determines the cause of non-delivery/failure of receipt and confirms the funds have not been credited to the Beneficiary. Note that a cancellation request fee applies, and the service charge from the initial transaction is non-refundable. In case the funds were already credited to the Beneficiary, PNB RCC will endeavor to recover funds on a BEST EFFORT basis only. Any refund issued does not in any way constitute as an admission of liability on the part of PNB RCC with respect to the transaction giving rise to the refund. In case the Remitter has other complaints, these shall be handled separately.
